Inferno by Dan Brown

Inferno is a book by US author Dan Brown. It is a thriller. It follows Harvard professor Robert Langdon through Italy with his doctor Sienna Brooks to stop a deadly virus from attacking the world. he is coping with temporary amnesia of the last 48 hours. It is an un-put-down-able book and I was reading under the dinner table for four days. it also tackles the issue of overpopulation.

Catching Fire- The Second Book in the Hunger Games (SPOILER ALERT!!)

The second book in the hunger games series shows us the aftermath of the hunger games and how Katniss, Peeta and Gale adapt to the changes after the games. And there is also the Capitol. The Capitol doesn’t appreciate being messed with and katniss and Peeta`s little trick with the berries. Katniss fights to save everything she hold dear. Even better than the last book, this book subtly shows us how all of us fight for nothing and how wars can tear us apart.

The Hunger Games

 

The Hunger Games is one of the most touching books in this world. It starts off with a sixteen-year-old, poverty stricken girl named Katniss. She lives in the future North America in a dictatorship country named Panem in it’s District 12. Every year, as a punishment of a past rebellion there are the Hunger Games. The Hunger Games are yearly games in which two people are selected from each district and sent to an arena to fight to the death. This book shows Katniss’ experience  through the arena and how she deals with the games in her point of view. This book shows the extent of human cruelty in a fictional way.
